| Oral abstracts and trainee travel award applications deadline: | Sunday, February 1, 2026 |
| Poster abstracts deadline: | Sunday, February 15, 2026 |
1. You must be an ICRS member to submit an abstract.
2. Presenting authors may submit only 1 abstract. Submissions beyond the first abstract from the same presenting author will be excluded from review.
3. Data submitted for presentation at the ICRS2026 Symposium are expected to be original and novel. If a subset of the data are previously published or presented elsewhere, an emphasis must be placed on new findings and not merely a reiteration of existing data
4. If your research involves novel compounds, all structures not previously described must be fully disclosed during your symposium presentation.
5. Your abstract must be prepared following proper sample abstract formatting. Submitted abstracts should have the following 4 sections: Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions. The results section must include a description of the results that will be presented at the conference (and, ideally, actual data and details of statistical analysis). It is not acceptable to write vague statements such as ‘data will be presented in the general area of xxxxxx’.
Your abstract should be a concise summary of your study and its results, whether it is intended for presentation in either oral or poster format at the conference.
6. Abstract submissions must be one-page in length, saved in an editable format such as one of the following document formats:
7. If there are figures or tables in your abstract and/or presentation, you must INSERT them into your abstract (Do not drag-and-drop graphics).
8. You must be an ICRS Member-in-Good-Standing to present data at our Symposia, and you must register for the entire Symposium.
All trainee presenters are eligible for a reduced “Trainee” level registration fee (pre-Doctoral and post-Doctoral). This year, trainee presenters are also eligibile to apply for a trainee travel award that, if granted, will further reduce the trainee registration rate. Trainee travel awards will be issued as a discount code that can be applied toward conference registration fees. Please note that the discount code must be used at the time of registration and cannot be applied retroactively— refunds will not be provided. To apply for a trainee travel award, complete the "Trainees Only" section in the abstract submission form.
